Principal's message
Cattai Public School provides an excellent environment for young learners to receive their education. Students become more than mere numbers, names, or faces; they become integral members of the school community. Our School is founded upon the principle of "Personalised Learning," whereby the systems and structures within the school are tailored to meet the individual needs of each student and their unique learning journey.
Our staff are active participants in the Science of Learning Alliance (SoLA), a collaborative network of schools dedicated to the science of learning. Through this alliance, we share resources, refine best practices, and continually evaluate our approaches, guided by the most current educational research.
Cattai Public School monitors our success using both progress and achievement indicators, which are communicated to parents each term. This process provides a comprehensive overview of students’ current standing, their future learning trajectories, the rate of their progress, and how this progress aligns with expected benchmarks for each student.
Student behaviour is considered through the framework of skill development, with a strong emphasis placed on learning and development of emotional intelligence and social skills to promotes positive outcomes.
