Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Our P&C is a dedicated group of parents, carers and school community members and they make a big difference through a range of activities. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.

Some of these activities include:

Ice Block Sales

Year 5/6 students sell Zooper Doopers for 50c each on Mondays and Fridays during Terms 1 and 4. These are purchased from the supermarket, and all profits go back into the school.

Cake Days

Each family has one turn per year to provide 12 cupcakes or slices for Cake Day.

Hot Lunches

Held twice a term during our parent assemblies, hot lunches offer a fun and convenient way to support the school. Menus vary, and are sent home in advance.

Book Club

We take part in Scholastic Book Club, which allows families to purchase books while helping our school earn credit to expand our library. Brochures go home twice a term and orders can be placed online via the LOOP platform or returned to the office.

Fundraising Events

The Cattai P&C aims to run three major fundraising events each year, usually held in Week 8 of Terms 1–3. These events help fund valuable resources and experiences for our students. Past events have included a Trivia Night, Barn Dance and Gingerbread house parties.

Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!
